Kathy McCutcheon

Kathy McCutcheon MSN, RN, NCSN has been a nurse for 35 years. She earned her bachelors of science in nursing at the University of Delaware and her masters of science in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She worked as a nurse practitioner for 14 years before pivoting to school nursing. She earned her school nurse certificate from Rutgers Camden in 2004 and has been working as a certified school nurse since that time. Kathy has been working at Haddon Township HS for the past 15 years and as Head Nurse for the district for the past two years. Kathy is active in the Camden County School Nurse Association and New Jersey State School Nurse Association where she serves on the executive board. Kathy served as the NJSSNA Education Chair for two years gaining a wealth of knowledge in planning and preparing for school nurses’ continuing education and was instrumental to obtaining CEU credits to the 2019 NJSSNA annual conference. Currently, she is the Secretary of the New Jersey State School Nurse Association. Kathy has acted as preceptor for Rutgers School Nurse Students for the past 6 years as well as guest lectured in the program. She is excited to join the Rutgers Camden School Nurse program as a part time lecturer in the class School Nurses as Population Health Leaders.
