Biography

Arcilia M. Ortiz, MSN, CSN-RN obtained her BSN from Rutgers University-Camden, embarking on a rewarding career, accumulating diverse experiences in both clinical practice and academia. Arcilia obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at Rutgers University-Camden with a School Nurse Specialty.

A proud Camden native, Arcilia has a deep commitment to nursing excellence and community health. Arcilia’s strong academic foundation and clinical experiences consist of diverse hands-on experience in various healthcare settings including School Nurse, Home Care and Clinical Manager, Community Nursing, Oncology and an Emergency Department Nurse.

Arcilia functioned in the capacity of a Co-Adjunct Instructor at Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden and the Program Director of the “Rutgers Reaches Out Initiative”, a health equity grant from the NJ Department of Health providing our communities with education on health equity and community resilience, outreach and access to COVID-19 vaccines.
