Biography
Dr. Rachel Derr obtained her BSN from Widener University, her MSN in nursing education and administration, and her DNP from Duquesne University. Dr. Derr is a Certified Nurse Educator and is additionally certified in low-risk neonatal nursing. Her areas of expertise include evidence-based nursing education, clinical education, assessment, testing and outcomes, technology in teaching and learning, and simulation.
Dr. Derr’s heart belongs to maternal-newborn and critical care nursing. She has presented her work with nursing education at several national nursing conferences. Dr. Derr looks forward to sharing her time and talent with the Rutgers—Camden community.
