Biography

Professor Kimberly McGuinness is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner in primary care who joined the School of Nursing-Camden in 2023. She graduated with a BSN from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and a Masters of Science from Columbia University. Professor McGuinness completed a Fellowship in Complex Care and Social Needs with Crozer Keystone Family Medicine Residency in partnership with Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers. She has spent the last decade delivering care to vulnerable populations, working to close gaps in care and improve quality of life for patients with chronic conditions and complex social needs.  She is a contributor to the 4th Edition of Policy and Politics for Nurses and Other Health Professionals. Professor McGuinness continues to present her work nationally to Health Systems and Universities.
