Nancy Hill

Nancy Hill is a simulation specialist at the Rutgers School of Nursing—Camden. Nancy brings over 30 years of acute care hospital experience with her to use in the academic world.  She has worked in numerous departments but specialized in Emergency Medicine and Case Management, for which she holds her specialty certification.  She maintains her specialty certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing and is a champion of hospice and palliative care.  She was part of the original team that in initiated a palliative care program at her local community hospital. 

Nancy started at Rutgers School of Nursing—Camden in January of 2016 and began her current position in June 2017.  Nancy works in the simulation laboratory as a specialist where she is responsible for planning and running simulation experiences for the students. She also is available to the students on an individual basis to enhance their learning experiences.  She has been involved in providing special programs for the public as well.

Nancy is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses as well as the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  A Rutgers University Alumnus, Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Education from Douglass College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing in Education from Wilmington University College of Health Professionals. She achieved a Certification in Simulation from Drexel University in 2018.
