Global Learning

Expand Your Horizons While Honing Your Skills

Explore the myriad of affordable and accessible ways to engage in global learning at Rutgers–Camden School of Nursing.

Learning Abroad

In collaboration with academic partners across many countries, disciplines, and health care settings, you’ll immerse yourself in courses dedicated to foreign language, population health, and well-being.

Semmelweis University Exchange Program — Budapest, Hungary

Through this student exchange with Hungary’s oldest medical school and one of Europe’s leading centers of health sciences, you’ll engage in joint research and scholarship exploring emergency care, infection control, and health care policies in the EU.

University of Havana Exchange Program — Havana, Cuba

Thanks to a $600,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s International and Foreign Language office, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in our new population health study abroad program — strengthening your Spanish language skills while increasing health equity for underserved Latino and immigrant populations.

Spanish for the Health Professions

In this certificate program, you’ll learn to communicate with and meet the health care needs of the 37M+ people in the United States who speak Spanish as their native language.

 Engaged Civic Learning

Leverage our valued partnerships with organizations like AmeriCorps to serve, advocate, and effect positive community changes that you can feel good about.
