The National League of Nursing proudly announced the selection of 20 nursing schools and programs as 2026 NLN Centers of Excellence™ located throughout the United States and representing the spectrum of higher education in nursing, from certificate-granting programs through advanced-degree academic institutions.
The Walter Rand Institute regularly sponsor innovative research that benefits the Southern New Jersey Region through its Faculty Fellowship Program. Dr. Catherine Stubin was a recent recipient of a $5,000 faculty fellowship from the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs (WRI).
Dr. Janice Beitz and Dr. Claudia Beckman have completed a study on academic bullying in nursing and health profession schools.
Dr. Joseph Cipriano was inducted as one of the inaugural Fellows of the American Association for Men in Nursing. Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden was also honored as being among the Best Schools for Men in Nursing for the third year in a row.

This fall, identical twins - Isabella and Gabriella Alberts' shared tradition continues at Rutgers University–Camden where both are studying to become nurses – they have the exact same courses and schedule – and are competing on the school’s tennis team – as doubles, naturally.
