Sample description
Dr. Janice Beitz and Dr. Claudia Beckman have completed a study on academic bullying in nursing and health profession schools. Academic social bullying is a significant phenomenon for nursing and health sciences educators affecting faculty well-being. Their findings were published in the Journal of Nursing Measurement. The title of their article is “Social Bullying in Nursing and Health Sciences Academia: A Qualitative Study.”
Dr. Beitz is a current professor and director of the School of Nursing-Camden’s Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP). She is also the current Deputy Editor of the Journal of WOC Nursing.
Dr. Beckman is a professor emerita of the School of Nursing-Camden. She is also the former director of the School of Nursing-Camden’s DNP Program.
