Rutgers University–Camden’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABS) program offers a fast-track pathway into the nursing profession for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s or higher degree in a non-nursing field. This intensive 15-month program provides the same rigorous clinical and academic training as the traditional BSN, preparing students to become licensed registered nurses.

Student Requirements & Resources
Students admitted to the Accelerated BSN program must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Successful completion of the following prerequisites:
- General Chemistry I and II (4 credits each with lab) or Organic Biochemistry (4 credits with lab)
- Anatomy and Physiology I & II (8 credits with labs)
- Microbiology (4 credits with lab)
- Statistics (3 credits)
- Human Growth and Development (3 credits)
- Nutrition (3 credits)
- Any Ethics Course (3 credits)
