Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden's RN to Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing program is for licensed registered nurses (RNs) who wish to leverage their valuable work experience, grow as professionals, and elevate their education. Our school gives area residents the opportunity to achieve their career goals quickly.
RN to BS in Nursing Express
Our school works with local partner institutions to offer area residents access to the State of New Jersey's 3 + 1 program, which enables students to complete three years of coursework at a community college and one year at a university to earn a bachelor's degree. This 'RN to BS Express in Nursing' program is available at: Rutgers University–Camden, Atlantic Cape Community College, and Mercer County Community College.

Admission to the RN to BS in Nursing program is on a rolling basis, meaning you can apply during the summer, spring, or fall semesters and are not required to write an essay for admission. Students who enroll receive (33) credits for passing the NCLEX and may transfer up to (60) additional credits for previously taken courses.

- I have never attended Rutgers University as a matriculated student.
For first-year or transfer students applying to Rutgers University–Camden for the first time.
- I was enrolled in a Rutgers University undergraduate degree program.
2. Submit Transcripts
Submit copies of all of your official academic transcripts, including any prerequisite coursework in progress, to the Rutgers University–Camden Office of Admissions. We strongly urge you to submit your transcripts as soon as you have completed an application. Please mail your transcripts directly to:

Students admitted to the RN to BS in Nursing program must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2.7 GPA.
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited university or college.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
