Mike Morgan

Mike coordinates projects for the School of Nursing-Camden's external affairs, community engagement, and alumni relations. Mike is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech and has lived and worked in Camden since 2010. He brings with him years of grassroots experience and perspective working at various nonprofits in the city- including Hopeworks, Cooper's Ferry Partnership, and Joseph's House. Just before joining the Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden team, he served as the Director of DeSales Service Works, hosting volunteers who come to Camden to serve those most in need at local ministries. He serves on the Board of Directors at the Nick Virgilio Writers House in Waterfront South – an organization devoted to promoting literacy, creativity, and self expression for Camden youth. As a resident, he enjoys neighborhood walks with his wife and dog, paddling the Cooper River, and long conversations about the joys and challenges of his adoptive home city of Camden.
