If you are an RN interested in pursuing a career as a school nurse, then join our School Nurse Certification Program Information Session on January 23, 2018. Rutgers School of Nursing–Camden's intensive summer program prepares registered nurses to fill the important role of school nurse across schools in New Jersey. In combination with clinical practicums, students learn the skills and theory that keeps our students healthy, fit, and ready to learn. The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) defines school nursing as a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success and life-long achievement and health of students.
